FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, has named Dr. Barivure Fred Kpakol as the Senior Special Assistant for Environment and Waste Management. Dr. Kpakol, who hails from Rivers State, boasts a strong academic background with a doctorate in Banking and Finance, a Master’s in Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
His extensive career includes roles as Rivers State Commissioner for Agriculture and Finance, Vice Chairman of the PDP in Rivers South-East Senatorial Zone, Executive Chairman of Gokana Local Government, and State Secretary of Rivers State Chapter of ALGON.
His appointment aligns with the FCTA’s dedication to addressing environmental and waste management issues in the Federal Capital Territory. Dr. Kpakol’s experience in finance, governance, and agriculture positions him well to address waste management and environmental conservation challenges.
