JUST IN: INEC Declares APC’s Ododo Winner Of Kogi Governorship Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Usman Ododo, has been declared the winner of the Kogi state governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Prof. Johnson Urama of the University of Nigeria, Nnsuka, the Returning Officer for the election, announced the results on Sunday night at the INEC state collation facility in Lokoja, the state capital.

UPDATE: SDP Calls For Cancellation Of Gov Election In Kogi Central

Ododo received 446,237 votes, defeating Murtala Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), who received 259,052 votes.

Dino Melaye, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, received 46,362 votes.
