President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Guinea-Bissau to participate in the 50th Independence Day Anniversary and Armed Forces Day celebrations. The president’s visit, scheduled for November 16, 2023, is part of the country’s festivities, which initially marked its 50th Independence Anniversary on September 24, 2023. President Tinubu was warmly received at the country’s airport by a senior Minister and Chief of Staff to the President, Soarez Sambu. The event is hosted by President Umaro Sissoco Embalo, and President Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria on Thursday.
