Kano Governorship Appeal Court Ruling Not Clerical Error – Odinkalu

In a statement released Friday night, Umar Mohammed Bangari, the Chief Registrar of the Court of Appeal, acknowledged that the mistakes were administrative in nature and had no bearing on the court’s conclusions or rulings.

He said that the mistakes were small and that the parties could request that the court fix them. He cited Court of Appeal Hand Book Order 23 Rule 4, which grants the court the authority to rectify any clerical error discovered by the court or any of the parties involved.

He emphasised that the court’s ruling remained enforceable and refuted any suggestion to the contrary.
