Igbos in Lagos State are finding it difficult to identify as Nigerians due to demolition, according to Aloy Ejimakor, special lawyer to IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu.
Ejimakor made the statement while bemoaning the destruction of Igbo residences in Lagos State.
He emphasised how biassed and unfair the demolition is in Lagos State.
Ejimakor asserted in a post on X that there is systematic discrimination against Igbos.

According to Ejimakor: “The relentless demolition in Lagos is so notoriously discriminatory and unjust, such that it will surely trouble Lagos State with countless scorched-earth litigations.
“For now, it has done so much to add to the systemic injustices that make it very tough for Ndigbo to be Nigerians.”
There have been allegations that the government of Lagos State is singled out and destroying Igbo communities and markets.
Furthermore, it was claimed that the state administration was demolishing Igbo-owned buildings.
A few days ago, former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike alleged that the Lagos State government had demolished his home even though he had received the necessary permission from the appropriate authorities.
