The N27.5 trillion appropriations bill for 2024 has been approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu presided over the weekly FEC meeting on Monday, which took place within the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The FEC granted the permission during the meeting.
According to information obtained by Anaedoonline.ng, the President will deliver the 2024 budget to the National Assembly on Wednesday.
Eight recently appointed Permanent Secretaries into the Federal Civil Service were sworn in by President Tinubu earlier today, following their approval last week.

Their nomination comes after the Office of the Head of the Federation’s Civil Service recently wrapped up its selection procedure.
Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Advisor on Media and Publicity, disclosed this in a statement on Friday.
After a thorough selection process, President Tinubu declared that he anticipates the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries, who will be chosen based on their qualifications, to use their experience and skills to carry out the Renewed Hope mission of reviving service delivery in all Federal Ministries, Departments, and Agencies in the paramount interest of the Nigerian people.
