Sheila, the estranged wife of Israel DMW – Davido’s logistics manager – has opened up about her marriage, detailing Israel as controlling. She further claimed he used their wedding ceremony as a means to gather money for himself. In a lengthy Instagram post, the former beauty queen accused Israel of rushing into the wedding and executing most of the events without her consent.
According to Sheila, she wanted a simple wedding, but Israel insisted on an elaborate ceremony because he is a public figure, and people’s eyes are on him. Despite her reservations, the white wedding turned out to be a grand event with a huge turnout. However, the real nightmare began after the wedding.
In her post, Sheila revealed that Israel became controlling and possessive, “caging” her in and making her live in fear. He would travel and forbid her from using the generator or going out, even preventing her from visiting the salon on different occasions.
Sheila described a particularly harrowing incident where she went out to the salon, and upon her return, the gateman refused to open the gate, claiming that Israel had instructed him not to let her in. An embarrassed Sheila had to call Israel’s father, who eventually convinced the gateman to open the gate. The incident left her hurt and humiliated.
