African Bank of the Year at the 2023 Bankers Awards, presented by The Banker Magazine, a Financial Times subsidiary, went to United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA). UBA has already triumphed twice in the last three years.
In addition, UBA Group won nine honours overall during the function, including Bank of the Year in eight of the twenty African nations in which it conducts business.
