How Tinubu Will End Nigerians Suffering in Three Years – Orji Kalu

Orji Uzor-Kalu, who is aware of the numerous challenges that millions of Nigerians suffer, has asked people to allow Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu more time to address economic issues.

During a courtesy visit to Stanley Okoro-Emegha, the Ebonyi chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Koli-Edda, Afikpo South LGA of Ebonyi, on Tuesday, former Senate chief whip Kalu delivered this message.

The former governor of Abia highlighted that Tinubu is assiduously trying to rebuild the country’s economy and bring back its previous prosperity.

Kalu underlined that in order for Tinubu to carry out his plans for economic revival, the people must exercise patience and give him time.

“The APC government is cutting the cloth into pieces. Before you sew a clothe, you will first cut it into pieces before you start sewing the clothe. So, Tinubu is busy cutting the clothe into pieces.

“So, give us another three years or two years. People are suffering. We understand that. Give us more two years for the clothe we want to sew to be sewn very well,” Mr Kalu said.

Mr. Kalu absolved the legislators of all accountability for the budget in the 2024 appropriations bill.

“We said that we are going to do a census and Nigeria has put several billion in planning for the national census in 2023 and if we did not vote money for the conduct of the exercise, Nigeria will be losing about N289 billion,” he said.
