Nasarawa People Were Robbed of Their Mandate – Aisha Yesufu Reacts On Supreme Court Verdict

Renowned socio-political activist Aisha Yesufu has voiced her dismay at the Supreme Court’s ruling on the Nasarawa State governorship election, strongly criticising the ruling as a “robbery” and a “coup on the people.”

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Emmanuel David Ombugadu, their candidate, filed a case, but it was denied by the highest court on Friday, upholding Governor Sule Abdullahi’s election.

In her lead and unanimous ruling, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun claimed that the PDP and Ombugadu’s accusations lacked sufficient evidence.
