In response to criticism from Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi for 2023, the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport in Abuja’s escalator and lift have been blocked.

A user going by the handle @IkukuomaC revealed this by implying the most current development.

Recall that Parallel Facts highlighted Peter Obi’s discontent with the malfunctioning airport elevator, which had been unrepaired for the past three months.

Today, Obi shared a tweet about an experience he had at the airport, when he saw four people helping a passenger who was physically challenged up the stairs.

This resulted directly from the lift not operating for the previous three months.

In addition to highlighting Abuja’s importance as the Federal Capital Territory, Obi emphasised the airport’s vital function as a point of entry for dignitaries and international investors.

He emphasised the absurdity of the scenario, pointing out that Bola Ahmed Tinubu left for a private visit from the same airport on the same day that this occurrence happened.
