The Nnewi Youth Forum received with grief and sadness, the news of the demise of Lolo Catherine Orizu, Mama Nnewi, the first wife of Igwe KON Orizu.
The Apex youth body in Nnewi maintains that late Lolo Catherine during her lifetime was a true mother, who spread love, kindness, and humanity around Nnewi and beyond.
In a letter sent to Anaedoonline.ng and signed by the President, Hon. Ejim Ucheagwu, the Forum described Mama as a good ambassador of Nnewi, a supportive wife to her husband and virtuous mother to every son and daughter of Nnewi Kingdom.
While we are saddened over her demise, we cannot question God for taking Lolo at such an important phase of Igwe KON Orizu, her husband’s life, who obviously needs her besides him, while making all the hard decisions for the betterment of Nnewi Kingdom.
We condole with Igwe KON Orizu, The Igwe of Nnewi, including his Children, Prince (Barr) Obi Orizu and siblings over this sad loss and pray the good Lord to grant her soul a peaceful repose.
