The Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, demonstrated his dedication to healthcare and education by visiting women’s organisations and schools in Kaduna.

His visit to the FOMWAN Hospital in Badarawa and the Madarasatul Hidayyatul Auladi Muslimima school in Kawo marked a turning point in his travel through Kaduna. “Mr. Peter Obi’s presence at the Madarasatul Hidayyatul Auladi Muslimima school in Kawo, Kaduna, was not merely symbolic; it was a testament to his unwavering commitment to education,” said Dr. Mo Paul, a social activist and team lead at Free Nigeria Movement, in praise of Obi’s devotion. Obi’s commitment to uplifting young minds is demonstrated by his donation of 10 million Naira to the institution.

Obi emphasised the value of Arabic reading and writing proficiency during his visit, emphasising the students’ potential for success in a variety of disciplines. Dr. Paul underlined that Obi’s vision recognises the relevance of a variety of talents and knowledge and goes beyond traditional educational limitations. By making an investment in these students, Obi advances society as a whole while also offering chances for personal development.

In an effort to improve Kaduna’s medical facilities, Obi continued his charitable work by giving another 10 million Naira to the Federation of Muslim Women Association in Nigeria (FOMWAN) Hospital. This significant donation will support facility upgrades and better community access to healthcare. Dr. Paul highlighted Obi’s commitment to promoting a healthier society by applauding his support of the hospital’s volunteers and employees.
