A content creator has been detained by the police for making accusations against Nigerian millionaire Emeka Okonkwo, also referred to as E-Money. The charges were centred around an alleged love relationship between E-Money and Jennifer Awele, the late Nollywood actor Junior Pope’s wife.
Remember how two social media users and a few Instagram blogs had openly stated that E-money was partially to blame for Junior Pope’s death? They said that Junior Pope had threatened to reveal the millionaire and his wife’s affair.
E-money refuted the claims in a statement posted on his Instagram page, calling them disrespectful to the bereaved family and demonstrating a total disregard for the legacy of the departed.

He also asked the public to help the authorities by providing reliable information that would result in the social media users who had made the accusation being taken into custody.
In reaction to the claims being circulated, authorities moved quickly and arrested a man who was a major instigator of these claims. The man is being held by the police while they look into the situation more.
Sharing the news on Instagram, on Thursday, to announce the arrest, E-money wrote, “I’m relieved to share that one of the individuals responsible for the character assassination against me has been apprehended by the Nigeria Police Force and will face prosecution.
“This is a significant step towards ending the scourge of cyberbullying.
