The idea and planning of this colossal multicultural event began in 2016 among the three Igbo organisations namely, Nzuko Ndigbo Vaasa, Umuigbo Turku and Ndigbo Community Tampere. And they set up a joint committee comprising of four members from each of the organisations to form an “organising committee” empowered to foresee the whole process of organising the event.
