A Nigerian Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Deborah, was stabbed with a broken plate by another corps member, Chris at Ogwuashuku in Delta State.
This happened on Sunday evening at National Christian Corpers Fellowship (NCCF) family house where both corps members served as executives as she was immediately rushed to the Ogwuashuku general hospital.
The victim said, “I only asked him to reduce his voice from the kitchen, the next thing I saw was him with a broken plate used in on my face. Thank God I wasn’t standing erect, my eye would have been damage”.
Chris in defence said, ” she asked me to shut up”.
The two corps member are same set, batch B, stream 2.

The zonal inspector (ZI), has immediately swung into action as instructions have been given to the local government inspector (LGI) not to clear him for September and also ordered for his immediate evacuation from NCCF family house.
He also requested for a formal report from the victim, the head of NCCF (Papo) and the doctor so that he would be penalized properly.
