MAN CAUGHT WITH HUMAN PARTS IN AWKA
A middle aged man simply identified as Firita, whose full identity is yet to be verified, has been arrested in Awka, Anambra State capital with different human parts, including a human head and male genital organ.
Anaedooline reports that the suspect was caught by residents of Amenyi village in the Awka capital territory, following a distress report from a neighbour, who alleged that Firita has been engaging in illicit businesses.
It was learnt that the suspect’s apartment was searched by residents of the area, who found “disgusting things”; in his house and went further to beat him to stupor, before he was whisked to a police station by some of the residents of the area, who felt it would be a problem for them should the suspect die in their hands.
It will be recalled that ritual killing has been in the increase of late in Anambra. Just two days ago, two young ladies were found dead and naked in a bush at Umunze, Orumba South council area; just as another lady was also found dead and naked in a partway in a bush at Umuchu, Aguata LGA, a day before.
