MAN ESCAPES DEATH AS TRAILER FALLS ON CAR IN NNEWI
A middle-aged man, Michael Azubuike, Thursday, escaped death when a fully loaded truck fell on a Toyota Jeep along Ugwuakpatiozu Road, close to Timber Shed Market, Nnewi, Anambra State.
The driver of the trailer loaded with 2/4 hardwood on it’s way to Nkwo Nnewi Timber Market, lost control of the vehicle and fell on the Toyota jeep parked by the roadside.
The owner of the Toyota Jeep, who was out of his vehicle to buy timber returned to behold his vehicle damaged beyond recognition. He, however, thanked Providence for saving his life.
Anaedooline reporter, who visited the scene reported that the accident caused very serious traffic dreadlocks, forcing vehicles plying the road to seek alternative routes.
As at the time of filing this report, the traffic jam persisted as the vehicles were yet to be evacuated.
