COURT SACKS UKACHUKWU, APGA’S SENATORIAL CANDIDATE IN ANAMBRA SOUTH (VIDEO)

Anaedoonline reports that an FCT High Court sitting in Apo, Abuja, presided over by Justice Ashi, Thursday, December 13, nullified the primary election that produced Prince Nicholas Chukwujekwu Ukachukwu as APGA’s senatorial candidate in Anambra South Senatorial District.

The court, in its ruling, said that the APGA primary election was inconsistent with the constitution of the party and electoral guideline.

The court also said that delegate lists used to elect Ukachukwu as flag bearer was fraudulent.

Anambra To Host 2020 Police Games From 29th February to 7th March

One of the aspirants in the primary election, Dr Okey Chidolue, had approached the bench to nullify the said primary that produced Ukachukwu as the flagbearer; citing irregularities as his reason for a challenging the election.

With this judgement, APGA, presently, has no candidate in Anambra South senatorial zone.
