ANAMBRA STATE COMMISSIONER FOR INFORMATION BLASTS OHANAEZE
The Anambra State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr C-Don Adinuba has blasted the Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo and branded them ‘disrespectful’
Anaedoonline.com gathered that Adinuba made this know at the Jerome Udoji Secretariat, Awka while addressing the media
“It is on record that the Great Zik remains the only patron of Ohanaeze and at such, they should have joined the rest of the World in honoring him” said C-Don
A visibly angry commissioner couldn’t hide his disgust at his perceived bias from the Ohanaeze in endorsing a Political candidate, stressing that as a non political outfit, it should not be seen endorsing anybody at all
It will be recalled that the Ohanaeze and the Obiano-led Government of Anambra State are at daggers drawn ever since the President of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari commissioned the Zik Mausoleum at Onitsha
The Ohanaeze Leader, Mr Nwodo had a few days back publicised the alleged insult meted out to him the Governor Obiano over the stand over the group both on the importance of the mausoleum and the endorsing of a political candidate
It does not appear as if we are anywhere near the end of the ongoing feud between both parties
