A man identified as Ugochukwu Collins Egwu, a suspected Facebook imposter from Okija, has allegedly been caught impersonating Former Nnewi Beauty Queen, Precious Chidimma, to defraud the unassuming public on Facebook.
According to reports made available to Anaedoonline.com by one Prince Chidi Chukwudalu who nearly fell a victim of the fraud by the said imposter, the said Ugochukwu Collins opened a Facebook account that has the name as Mhiz Ifunanya with Precious Chidimma’s photograph and entered into chats with unsuspecting Facebook friends of the account.
According to Prince Chidi Chukwudalu, after he accepted the friend request from Mhiz Ifunanya, he had series of chats with her in which Ifunanya demanded a sex chat with him, she also sent him many pictures of Precious Chidimma and also many pornographic pictures.
Suspecting that the account was a fake one, Prince Chidi demanded for her mobile number and State of residence which Ifunanya gave as Lagos State. She also said that she was a 300 level Medical Laboratory student of University of Lagos and was working in a hotel in Festac. She also told him that she was from Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.
When reached through the mobile number, Ugochukwu (Ifunanya) used a female voice to answer, during the call, Ifunanya impersonating as Precious Chidimma said that she needed Twenty Thousand Naira (#20,000) to sort out some personal issues.
He thereafter sent his account number bearing the account name Chukwuemeka Mmesoma. M. with account number as 0234960531, GT Bank.
When asked why the account name did not bear Ifunanya, he said he has two Igbo names which are Ifunanya and Mmesoma then her English name as Anita. It was however indicated through the Truecaller App in his mobile phone (08137146185 and 08122424808) as Ugochukwu Collins.
Upon investigation, Prince Chidi further discovered that the Ugochukwu Collins who was impersonating Precious Chidimma as Mhiz Ifunanya was from Okija but lives in Akabokwu Uruagu Nnewi. It was learnt that Ugochukwu who is allegedly known for criminality.
When contacted, Precious Chidimma, who was one of the runners up in 2017 edition of The Most Beautiful Girl in Nnewi, was evidently shocked upon the realization of the Facebook Account.

She denounced such account and warned her friends and the general public to disregard such Facebook account as it did not emanate from her.
Chidimma, who is from Umudim Nnewi, however lamented the several embarrassments and harassments she has received from people that she doesn’t know both on Facebook and on the street, regarding how she has been soliciting for donations, requesting for sex chats and sending pornographic pictures to them.
She also vowed to report the issue to the appropriate authorities.
