ANAMBRA: EZE CHRISTOPHER IDIGO, IGWE AGULERI PASS ON
The Idigo Dynasty of Iruokechi Royal Family, Aguleri Royal Cabinet and Ndi Iche have announced the homeward journey into eternity of Eze Christopher Nwabunwanne Idigo, Igwe Aguleri.
Announcing the demise of the Royal father at the Ogalagidi Palace, Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area, the Traditional Prime Minister of the Community , Chief Henry Manafa, on behalf of Aguleri Traditional Council, said that Aguleri Community and friends were mourning the
royal passage.
Igwe Nnewi Celebrates 94th Birthday
He stated that Eze Christopher Idigo was the custodian of the culture and tradition of the ancient Kingdom of Aguleri, Otu no Igbo.
The Prime Minister disclosed that Igwe Idigo proceeded to the journey on eleventh of last month after being on the throne for twenty four years and was aged, seventy four years.
He further said that details of the funeral rites will be communicated to the public in due course.
It will be recalled that the late Eze Idigo performed his 2019 Ovala festival on the fifth of last month.
