Obinna Ngonadi Takes Smart To Court
The House Member-Elect, Anambra State House of Assembly, Nnewi North Constituency, Nonso Okafor (Smart) was today served the court process of the petition filed at the Tribunal challenging his election by the candidate of the YPP, Dr. Obinna Ngonadi.
Anaedoonline exclusively gathered that the petition was filed on 29th March 2019 by a team of lawyers led by D. C. Denwigwe SAN

When contacted, Hon Smart confirmed that he was truly served today. He said he received it in good faith even though he had expected his brother Obinna to sheathe his sword and join hands with him to deliver quality representation to Ndi Nnewi. “I see this as a contest between brothers and not a war. The court action will further consume time and money that would have been better invested in the good of ndi Nnewi. However, going to Tribunal is within his right as a candidate”
When Anaedoonline contacted Dr. Obinna Ngonadi, he said: “I don’t have time for this, I am very busy”. Further efforts to reach him have proved abortive.
It would be recalled that the March 9th, 2019 State Assembly election had Okafor Smart who scored 13,231 defeating Obinna Ngonadi who scored 12,383 by a margin of 848.
