Abia state Assembly inauguration shifted from 6th June to 11th June
The Abia state house of Assembly inauguration which was earlier fixed for Thursday, 6th June 2019 has been shifted to Tuesday, 11th of June 2019.
The shift was made public in a statement by the Clerk of the state house of Assembly, Mr. Johnpedro Irokansi.

Mr. Johnpedro who stated reasons for the shift in date, regretted the inconveniences the change in date of the 7th House of Assembly inauguration may cause members of the public.
He added that the valedictory session of the sixth Abia state Assembly would hold on Monday, 3rd June 2019.
“The new date is now Tuesday, June 11, 2019, while the venue of the ceremony remains the Assembly chambers, Oguruibe layout, Umuahia”, part of the statement stated
