Distinguished Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah has taken to his official Facebook page to appreciate members of his family, friends and well wishers on the solidarity and showers of love gifted to him during his inauguration into the 9th senate.
The Senator said that the expression of love was a remarkably special moment for him as the support and goodwill gestures added in no little measure yet another memorable chapter to his life.

I am deeply overwhelmed by the tremendous expression of love displayed by my family members, supporters, friends and well wishers on the occasion of my inauguration into the Ninth Senate. It was indeed a remarkably special moment for me as your support and goodwill gestures added in no little measure yet another memorable chapter to my life.

Your esteemed presence and contributions made the entire day undoubtedly momentous in every respect; from the various degrees of support and goodwill messages, down to the gifts. The relentless effort put in for me by each and every one of you made my inauguration as the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District unforgettable.
With immense gratitude and all sense of humility, this is my own unique way of saying thank you all so much for being such a great part of this new chapter.
My appreciation is but a simple drop in the ocean compared to what you have done and how special I feel. I am humbled by your staunch exhibition of love, faith and steadfastness which is an acknowledgement of the belief and confidence you have in me.
This period marks a new phase in my life as I have officially launched my journey into the Nigerian Parliament, and today I reaffirm all my promises to you.
We attained this victory together, and together we shall also attain the unprecedented heights we desire.

To anyone who was dissatisfied by the densely populated atmosphere, please accept my sincere apologies as the overwhelming turn out of guests was beyond my initial guest arrangement and plan.
The task of building a better society which lies ahead of us is not an easy one, neither is it impossible. I look forward to exploring, rubbing minds and discussing innovative legislative ideas/ approaches with my constituents, well wishers and supporters on how we can advance the fortunes of Anambra South and reclaim the economic stake of the Igbo Nation in the Nigerian polity.
May God strengthen our collective endeavours with wisdom, creativity and strength of purpose.
