Nnewi: Governor Obiano Begins Asphalting of Uru Road (Photos)
The reconstruction of Uru Nnewi to Okigwe expressway by Anambra State Government is nearly in completion as the asphalting of the road commenced today, Thursday, July 25th, 2019.
The rehabilitation work is projected to take about Four weeks to complete.

Details of the ongoing effort show that before a fresh asphalt overlay was started today on the road, aspects of the road went through maintenance.
According to the Site Manager, Okwuosa Christian, about 3Km road which begins in Uru Umudim Nnewi Community road and stops at Okigwe expressway is currently being reconstructed by Fancee Construction Company, through the funding of Anambra State Government.
Road users and owners of businesses along the road has lauded Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Dr. Willie Obiano, for his efforts.
Roadside artisans like vulcanizers, petty traders and other residents of the area are of the opinion that when completed, access to their businesses by potential customers would be enhanced.
