As the New Yam Festival popularly known as Afia-Olu Festival of Nnewi Community draws closer, Chairman of 2019 Nnewi Afia-Olu Festival, Hon. Prince Moses Obi, has assured that preparations are in top gear to ensure a hitch-free 2019 Afia-Olu festival.
Speaking to Anaedoonline.com, Prince Moses Obi, said that his committee is working tirelessly to ensure the festival is improved from what it has been in the past.

According to him, despite financial constraints, the committee is mobilizing Nnewi sons and daughters to provide the needed resources to make the festival a befitting one.
Speaking further, Prince Moses Obi, said that the committee is planning to add entertainment night as part of the festival program. The entertainment night will feature many artists to entertain the audience.
The Afia-Olu Festival which is scheduled for Wednesday 28th – Saturday 31st August 2019, will kick-off of at Eneta-Edo Square Uruagu Nnewi.
