The Anambra Police Has Apprehended A Four-Man Gang Of One-Chance Syndicate. (Photos)

Anambra Police has arrested a Four-man gang of one-chance robbers after they made away with an unsuspecting ”passenger’s” money.

According to reports, the four robbers, Friday Ebie 41years from Delta State, Cynthia Agu 20years from Enugu State and Mary Andrew 20 years, also from Enugu State, set out for a robbery in a cab, looking for an unsuspecting passenger to dispossess of his or her belongings.

Then, the thieves got a passenger, Nwanye Philomina, aged 30years from Akwuzu, who boarded their taxi at Nteje Boys High School bus-stop in Oyi LGA of Anambra State.

The robbers, suspecting that Miss Nwanye had money on her, bided their time. When their ”cab” got to Nkwelle Ezunaka, the robbers stopped abruptly and implored Miss Nwanye to exit from the car to allow them to adjust the seat of the car.

The moment Nwanye alighted from the car, the three robbers sped off, with them was Miss Nwanye’s bag containing N400,000.00

The Victim, Nwanye immediately raised an alarm, an alarm which attracted the attention of the people around. The robbers who were given a hot pursuit by the people ran out of luck when they came across a police patrol team attached to 3-3 Division, who intercepted  and arrested them.
The name of the fourth robber is unknown as at the time of writing this report.
