Kingsley Moghalu Reacts To Ekweremmadu’s German-Manhandling, Calls For Electoral Reform

Former deputy governor Central Bank of Nigeria has condemned the attack on Senator Ekweremmadu by the members of IPOB.

Recall that we reported how the former DSP was manhandled by some IPOB members who felt he did little or nothing in the face of killings by Fulani Herdsmen in his home state, when he visited Nuremberg, Germany for second annual cultural festival and convention organized by ndigbo in Germany.

Kingsley Moghalu while reacting to the incident on the microblogging platform, Twitter, condemned it and also called for electoral/ political reform.

”I don’t endorse the violent treatment of @iamekweremadu in Germany. We can disagree without violence. But it shows our people’s rising anger at our career politicians and despair at the lack of progress. We need political/electoral reform. Let’s vent our anger at the ballot” he tweeted.
