Land Tussle: Rev. Fr. Ebube Muonso accused of Land Grabbing
Fiery Roman Catholic Priest and Spiritual Director of Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry Uke, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma, popularly known as Ebube Muonso has been accused of intimidating, assaulting and grabbing a land which allegedly belongs to Prince Chiedu Kodilinye from Umuota Village in Obosi, Anambra State.
According to reports made available to Anaedoonline.com, the land which both Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma AKA Ebube Muonso and Prince Chiedu Kodilinye are laying claims to is situated in Nzasi Land Ugamuma Village Obiosi.
Speaking to Anaedonline.com, Prince Chiedu Kodilinye, a businessman, has accused Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma AKA Ebube Muonso of land grabbing, describing him as a selfish man.
According to him, the land which has 25 plots belongs to him as he remains in possession of the relevant documents that put him in the position as the owner.
In a chat with our correspondent, Prince Chiedu Kodilinye narrated his ordeals in the hands of the Roman Catholic Priest.
Speaking, he said, “The land in question is a land I bought from Prince and Princess Properties Limited”
“I personally fenced the land and also installed a gate, since it has a common boundary with Divine Rays British International School belonging to Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma AKA Ebube Muonso”
According to him, trouble started on 6th of August, when Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma AKA Ebube Muonso directed his boys to supervise the pulling down of the wall demarcating the land in dispute and his school, Divine Rays British International School.
On the steps he took, Prince Chiedu Kodilinye said that his complaints fell on the deaf ears of both the boys and Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma AKA Ebube Muonso.

“On 12th of August, 2019, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma AKA Ebube Muonso and his agents went into about 7 plots of my land and started the erection of another wall inside the land where Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma who is also known as Fr. Ebube Muonso claimed was the boundary between my land and his. He started construction of some structures in my land”
“I reported the matter to the Disciplinary/Land Recovery Committee of Obosi Committee to enable them to settle the issues, but neither Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma also known as Fr Ebube Muonso nor his representative appeared before the Committee”

According to Prince Chiedu Kodilinye, Letter of the invitation was sent to Rev. Fr. Ebube Muonso which directed that he should appear in Igwe Obosi’s Palace on 13th August 2019, but he refused to honour the invitation. He also did not respond to the second invitation.
Attempts to reach Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma AKA Ebube Muonso to get his reaction, as at the time of writing this report has proved abortive.
