You Are A Joke – Nigerians Blast Ihedioha For Not Patronising Innoson
The last may not have been heard of Emeka Ihedioha’s Operation Iron Gate which he recently launched in Owerri, as Nigerians have taken to social media to express disgust at the choice of trucks he distributed to the security operatives at the launching.
While this singular action of the launching of Operation Gate earned Ihedioha some accolades from his supporters, a large percentage of Nigerians have taken to social media to blast Governor Ihedioha for patronizing foreign car manufacturer instead of buying Innoson Vehicles for the operation.
Zaddy Ajala wondered why Ihedioha failed to patronize a fellow Igbo man, and rather preferred American cars,” Imo state Governor unlooked Anambra state where a fellow Igbo man is assembling Innoson Motors and went to USA to 100s of Ford Vehicles. Army bought from Innoson, but Emeka Ihedioha decided to buy Ford when Charity begins at home is nonsense” he tweeted.
Eddy2king shared the same view with Zaddy Ajala, he said,” Imo state Governor left Innoson motors, owned by a fellow Igbo man from Anambra state, went to USA to buy 100s of Ford vehicles. It hurts me when those that have the means cannot encourage Innoson that is our won. Only God can help this country”

Bright Okuta said,” In April 2019, Buhari acquired 77 Hilux vehicles from Innoson Motors for the usage of FRSC, but Imo state governor Ihedioha snubs Innoson, went to the USA and acquired 100s of vehicles. And then some nitwits and cretins will come and say that Buhari is the enemy of Igbos”
Trucks That Were Distributed By Governor Ihedioha
Chukzee was of the opinion that the cars that were acquired by Ihedioha were of inferior quality, he said ” I’d rather focus on quality than origin. Based on my former company experience, I can say categorically here that Innoson trucks are better than ford. Toyota is the best. We used all three. @emekaihedioha you just bought yourself high OPEX in maintainance”
@Ugomajesty said,” To think that Innocent Chukwuma (Innoson motors) is the chancellor of Imo state University, Owerri, yet the Governor had to travel to USA to buy 100 ford trucks. Beats my imagination and makes Emeka a Joke. MFR my foot, when you can’t hold the Nigeriannes above prejudice”
