Speaker Anambra state house of assembly Rt. Hon. Uche Victor Okafor has described the former Governor Dame Virgy Etiaba as a virtuous woman.
In his goodwill message to the former Governor who clocked seventy-seven, Mr. Okafor maintained that Dame Virgy used her feminine disposition to achieve enduring peace in Anambra State during her tenure.
The Speaker noted that as the first female Governor in the country, Dame Virgy did the State proud in many ways especially by being the first Governor in Nigeria to sign the Child Rights Bill into law among other accomplishments within her three months eventful tenure.

He called on the federal government to accord the necessary recognition to the former Governor Etiaba, by naming a befitting federal government establishment after her in appreciation of her giant strides in the political history of the country.
The State number one lawmaker while wishing Dame Virgy a happy birthday, prayed God to give her more fruitful years and strength to continue to achieve more for humanity.
