At the moment, firefighters have arrived the scene of the event to curtail the fire as goods worth millions of Naira have burnt to cinders.
One of the victims of the fire incidence who spoke amidst tears stated that the fire started from Anambra Plaza on Martins street in the market and has spread to about six other structures.
Balogun Market is a market located on Lagos Island in Lagos State, Nigeria. The market is recognized as the best place to buy fabrics, shoes and all sorts of wares. However, this recent fire incidence is coming barely two months after fire engulfed some section of the market.
