In light of the lockdown order issued by the government to curb and contain the spread of the CoronaVirus Disease, a lot of social events have had to be put on hold or canceled due to the directive.
There have been many cases of local authorities disrupting social gatherings as people have been warned not to engage in such so this couple look like they had to improvise and carry on with their wedding.
In a photo shared on Facebook by the user, Tony Matinjah a groom and a bride are seen wearing their wedding ring inside what looks like a living room and according to Matinjah, we’re seeing the couple have their wedding ceremony inside a living room.

However, The Rivers State Police has arrested and prosecuted over 100 residents of the state for violating a lockdown order issued by the state government.
Recall that Governor Nyesom Wike had announced the closure of land and sea borders in the state and a ban on vehicles entering or leaving the state.
He also announced the setting up of surveillance posts at the state borders to screen people coming into the state and a ban on burials, weddings, and other social gatherings in the state.
