Fashola Finally Reacts To Naira Marley Flight Confusion

Nigeria’s Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, has finally spoken out against the mix-up about his name and that of Nigerian pop star, Naira Marley as revealed by the Cheif executive officer of Executive Jets Services Limited, Sam Iwuajoku.

Speaking on the mix-up about his name and that of Nigerian pop star, the Minister revealed that he has not travelled out of Abuja since March 22, 2020, after inspecting the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway construction work. He also berated the statement of the Cheif executive officer of Executive Jets Services Limited, Sam Iwuajoku.

“It is therefore ridiculous for Dr. Iwuajoku to attempt to link the Hon. Minister with any non-compliant flight.”

He also said that his decision to stay back at Abuja was subject to his obey the strict guidelines of the Federal Government’s ban on inter-state travels as part of efforts to control the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, the Federal Government has suspended Executive Jets Services for flying popular musician Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley contrary to the approval it was granted.

Naira Marley was flown from Lagos to Abuja by the airline despite COVID-19 restrictions after approval of aviation authorities.

But the Federal Government explained the flight was meant to fly in Hon. Justice Adefope Okojie from Lagos to Abuja and back to Lagos and not the musician.

The musician featured and entertained fun-seekers at the Jabi Lake Mall in Abuja over the weekend.
