Ike God Foods Ltd.(makers of your favorite noodles, Jolly-Jolly) is owned and managed by Mr. Ikenna Ifejiofor. The establishment’s construction started 2017 with steps towards making it a global brand. Mr. Ifejiofor began building, buying machinery, and subsequently, publicity.

While at it, he met a number of persons in the town to reveal his intentions to them. He anticipated encouragement and support; however, he got the opposite.

Criticism came from all corners, he got a lot of reviews from people saying he is a business spoiler for Tummy Tummy brand, some said he would never make progress, others said he would waste resources as consumers are already used to the Tummy Tummy brand.


Through persistence he continued, he kept working towards his vision to provide nutrition for the best prices and turned a blind eye to the negativity.

In December 2019, he officially began operations of the business in Nnewi, a town that already had a signature noodles company that has been in operation for 11 years plus. He got discouraged along the line, the negativity persisted but he was unwavering and determined to succeed.

Little by little, carton after carton, pack after pack, and trailer after trailer the product got into the market and surprisingly, was accepted.

Today, Jolly Jolly produces cartons of noodles daily distributed in Lagos, Anambra, Abia, Imo, Ebonyi, Enugu, Benue, Kogi, Niger, Delta, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Edo with an expansion in view. While in a conversation with a high-level management staff of the organization, he revealed that their production strength is not enough to meet up with the demands they get.

One of the secrets of the success of the business stems from the fact that the business sells premium content. It does not copy other brands, it does not sell substandard, it gives good quality, taste, and does not get soggy no matter the quantity of water added.

The business realized what people want, which is to eat noodles without it getting soggy and they provided that, this gave the business confidence that it would thrive in the market even in the face of criticism and it did.


The consumers who enjoy the tummy-tummy brand still buy the brand while some other percentages who have been buying other products have switched to Jolly-Jolly and both brands are selling.

The story of Jolly Jolly teaches us to take a bold step when necessary, never be afraid of competition because the sky is big enough for all birds to fly.
