The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, says that he is “not a lover of materialism”, adding that the only property he own is the one he bought in 2001 in London.
Kanu who spoke during a broadcast on Friday morning, said he is contented with what he have.
The IPOB leader also challenged anyone with evidence of a property he bought during the struggle for Biafra under IPOB, to come forward with tangible evidence.

He said; “I only own a property in London which I bought in 2001 with my own money. I don’t own any other property elsewhere in the world. The house in my village was built by my father, and I am content with that, because I only needed a room for myself and my wife to sleep in. My children have their own rooms and am satisfied with that.
“I am not a lover of materialism. I therefore challenge anyone who has any evidence where I own any other property anywhere in the world to please produce his or her evidence”.
