Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has revealed the plan of his administration to construct Ngwa, Ohanku, Obohia and Port Harcourt Roads. Okezie Ikpeazu, who made this known in a tweet via his Twitter account on Thursday, said he was overwhelmed that despite experiencing some challenges, the watershed management and road construction projects were finally underway and gaining momentum.

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, on Thursday, dispelled rumours making the round that one of the three flyover bridges he built and named legacy projects located along Enugu-Onitsha expressway was collapsing. Obiano who spoke through the State Commissioner for Works, Engr Marcel Ifejiofor, during a Thursday morning, inspection tour said the popular Aroma flyover is strong and safe, contrary to the insinuations on social media that the bridge was collapsing.

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), has voiced their support to Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano on tagging herdsmen with AK 47 as criminals Governor Obiano on Tuesday, at the Prof Dora Akunyili Women’s development Center in Awka, revealed the state will not habour such elements in the state again.

The cold war at the Imo State House of Assembly, Owerri, on Thursday, took another dimension as the lawmakers impeached their majority leader, Uche Ogbuagu. Ogbuagu, who represents Ikeduru state constituency, had defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC, from Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, shortly after Emeka Ihedioha was removed in January 2020 by the supreme Court as governor in order to emerge a principal officer of the house.

Two members of the Bauchi State House of Assembly have dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the State. The two lawmakers are Umar Yakubu, representing Udubo Constituency and Yusuf Bako, representing Pali Constituency.
