The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has restated the commitment of his group to rid the Biafran region of all forms of criminality until its farmlands and forests were safe and secure. Kanu, in a statement on Monday, also praised the Eastern Security Network (ESN) for the successful capture of Mohammed Isa and his gang who, he said has been terrorising peaceful farming communities in Benue and nearby states.

The administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, has formally announced commencement of the first ever flyover bridge project by the state government, located at the intractable Abakpa Nike/Nike Lake/T-Junction road, in Enugu East Local Government Area of the state, on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.

There was commotion at World Bank market, New Owerri, when parts of the market were demolished by officials of the state government, causing panic and anxiety among traders at the market and residents of the area. An eye witness said those who carried out the demolition of the market were officials from the Owerri Capital Development Authority, OCDA.
