GIG Mobility (GIGM, formerly God is Good Motors) is an African technology-based transportation platform, founded and has its headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. GIGM currently operates in Nigeria and other West African countries chief of them Ghana. It was established in 1998 and has made a name for itself for moving thousands of commuters daily across the cities of Nigeria and Ghana.

History and ownership

GIG Mobility was founded by the couple Edwin and Stella Ajaere in the early nineties. They started with one 14-seater bus that plied Lagos and Benin City with the inscription “Good is Good”. It became a full-fledged company in 1998. Twenty years on, the company has remained closed to outsiders as the management is made up of only members of the Ajaere family.

There are four members of the board of God is Good Mobility. They are:

Chidi Ajaere, Executive Chairman;

Uche Ajaere, Director;

Chima Ajaere, Director.

GIGM operates an app that allows people to book bus tickets, hire vehicles and opt for pickup service online and is available for iOS and Android users. Customers are able to book trips to any of the cities GIGM visits.

Visit the God is good motors corporate website at GIGM.com. Create a user account from the website and then log in. Alternatively, 

You can download their mobile app directly to your phone from the Android play store or iOS platform and launch the app from your phone. Fill out all the necessary details. The details are:

Your state of departure, The nearest terminal for departure, Destination terminal, and the Number of tickets needed. Then click the “book now” icon on the website or mobile app.

On the succeeding page, tap on the “view seats” button close to your selected bus and departure time. Choose your desired seat and click on continue. Now, fill your in your personal details as well as those of your next of kin details. Click on terms and condition.

Select your preferred payment method depending on the kind of cards with you. Select your appropriate card type and supply all needed card details accurately, click on the pay button to finalize your booking process. 

To affirm its success, GIGM will send you a text message and an email confirmation from God is good motors.

Branches and locations of God is Good Motors in Nigeria

GIG is located in a couple of areas in the south. In Abia State, there are two terminals, the Aba Terminal: No 5, Asa road, formerly Old Nitel Building, Aba, and the Umuahia Terminal located at New Central Park, Ohia, Enugu-Port Harcourt ExpressWay.

Anambra State has only the Awka Terminal: Elite Shopping Complex, Opposite Crunchies Fries, Enugu/Onitsha Expressway, Awka, Anambra State.

There is the Bayelsa Terminal at Opposite Wema Bank, Kpansia, by INEC Junction, Yenagoa.

In Delta State, there is the Asaba Terminal at Asaba–Onitsha Expressway, by Head-Bridge, Asaba and there is the Warri Terminal at 116 Effurun Sapele Road, Opposite Our Lady’s.

Edo State has four locations: Benin Central Terminal at 12 Akpakpava Road by First Junction, Benin City, Benin Head Office located at 202B Uselu Lagos Road, Near Ediaken Market, Benin City, the Auchi Terminal at Auchi-Okene expressway, by Old Staff Quarters, Auchi Poly, and the Ekpoma Office: Benin-Auchi Road, Ekpoma, Opposite Grail Center.

Lagos is the place with the most branches for GIGM. There is the Ajah Terminal Near the Police station in Ajiwe Ajah, the Festac Terminal Festac Gate Bus Stop, the Ikotun Terminal at 29, Ikotun Road, Opposite Ikotun LG, Ikotun Bus-Stop. Lagos State, and the Iyana-Ipaja Terminal located at164, Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, Beside Access Bank, Lagos.

Others include Jibowu Terminal, 20 Ikorodu Express Road, Jibowu, Lagos, Volkswagen Terminal at Volkswagen Bus Stop, and the Yaba (Central Park) Terminal at Yaba Central Park, Opp. Psychiatric Hospital, Yaba, Lagos.

Rivers State only has one terminal, the Port-Harcourt Terminal which you can find at 228 Aba Road By Bori Camp, Just after INEC Office, Port Harcourt, River State.

In the north, GIG has prominence in Abuja. You can find them at Zuba Terminal located in Market Space 206, Zuba Market, the Mararaba Terminal at Abuja Keffi road, by Abacha Road junction, via Nyanya-Mararaba, Opp. Chrisgold Plaza/Oando Filling Station, Nassarawa State, and the Utako Terminal at Plot 113, Utako District, FCT Abuja. There is also the Kubwa Terminal at Block 43, Gado Nasko Way, Opposite 2/2 Court, Kubwa, Abuja.

Outside of Abuja, God is Good Mobility’s only other location in the north is the Kaduna Terminal located at Lagos Garage, Mando, Kaduna.
