Adamu Muhammed, The Inspector-General of Police on Tuesday said that there will be no hiding place for the members of Indigenous People of Biafra.

The IGP who spoke when he visited the Imo State Police Command to inspect the extent of damage, insisted that IPOB members were responsible for the Imo jailbreak and the razing of the state police command.

Adamu, who urged officers to use their rifles against the IPOB members, said that “police will not allow these criminals to succeed.”

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, will today visit the bombed police headquarters in Owerri.

The Imo state police public Relations Officer, PPRO, Orlando Ikeokwo, made this known to newsmen in Owerri.

The IGP is said to have planned to also visit the bombed facilities of the Owerri Correctional center, where hoodlums linked to the members of the Eastern Security Network, ESN, were said to have freed thousands of inmates.

ANAEDOONLINE gathered that the IGP would be having special security meetings to discuss the way forward.

Yemi Osinbajo, The Vice President of Nigeria will arrive in Imo state, today. The Special Adviser/Chief of protocol to the Governor of Imo state, Bright Nwelue, disclosed this to newsmen in Owerri.

The statement added that Osinbajo will be commissioning a road project, among which include the Dick-tiger road up to Methodist junction and connecting Chukwuma Nwaoha.

It said: “The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Prof Yemi Osinbajo SAN will today commission one of the most critical roads in Imo State solidly constructed and delivered by the Shared Prosperity Government OF Senator Hope Uzodimma.”

However, ANAEDOONLINE was told that the Vice President would also use the opportunity to visit the Owerri Correctional center as well as the Imo state police headquarters, which was bombed by the hoodlums early hours of Monday, an operation that lasted up to 3 hours.
