Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC), the apex youth wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo ably led Comrade Igboayaka O. Igboayaka has expressed shock over the quick reaction immediate past Inspector General of Police, IGP Adamu over the jail break of Owerri Correctional Center which took place on Easter Monday.

Reacting over the incident in Owerri, the National President of Ohanaeze Youth Council, Comrade Igboayaka In a press release signed by Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to OYC President, Chukwuemeka Chimerue Ucheagu described the former IGP’s allegation as very childish and unprofessional, stressing that the hatred of the Nigerian government and Fulani political cartel against Igbo stirred his accusation on IPOB as perpetrators of the unfortunate incident.
Igboayaka warned former IGP to cease from threatening Ndigbo, reminding him that 100 percent of Ndigbo by event of Nigerian political history are indigenous people of Biafra. He urged former IGP Adamu to be very careful not to aggravate the already heated tension in Nigeria with his hate allegation against Ndigbo as regards the jail break.
He noted that over 4 hours operation of the gunmen without any reasonable intervention indicated that either the former IGP Adamu have hand in the incident or he is not qualified to handle such sensitive security position.
There is no effective government is Nigeria anymore, Owerri and Benin jail break is evidence of colossal leadership failure from political actors in Nigeria, the neglect of Nigeria youths on job creation which is speedily leading to youth restiveness and crisis.
Owerri, Benin jail break, burning of police stations over Nigeria, Banditry, Unknown gun are all sign that Nigeria government has failed the youth, and must quickly negotiate with Nigeria youths or wait for the worst day of Nigeria.
“To attack the Imo state police command not less than 20 minutes drive to the location of the 34 artillery brigade Obinze is an indication that the former IGP has some questions to answer as regard the operation,” Comrade Igboayaka stated.
Former IGP who is doing selective tribalistic investigation could have bury his face in shame than to come out quickly to blame IPOB, messing up the security intelligence of Nigeria before international communities. It is quite unfortunate that (FUNAM) who claimed responsibility on the attack of Gov. Ortom Samuel of Benue state, yet IGP and Nigeria government died in silence because he working for Nigeria government led by Mohammadu Buhari that are supporting terrorism in Nigeria with Impunity.

Continuing, he said: “It is shocking that the former IGP visited Imo state, but has been kept mute on the killing of innocent citizens by his Fulani kinsmen who slaughtered over 35 people at Ishielu in Ebonyi state.
“From all indications, the Nigerian government and the security chiefs are part of the conspirators of recent insecurity in Nigeria which includes Banditry, Kidnapping, Boko Haram terrorism, Fulani herdsmen killings and the activities of unknown gunmen.
“It is unbelievable that within 48 hrs IGP Adamu and Vice President Yemi Osibanjo could hastily visit Owerri Correctional Center and the State Police Command where only two victims was recorded with some destruction of cars, only to make a new proposal for replacement of things destroyed during the incident. Hence, he saw it as an avenue to make dubious proposal to loot state treasury. Yet over 35 innocent Igbos were massacred in Ebony state since 5 days ago, the IGP could not step in to see the level of evil his kinsmen committed. It is now obvious that the lives of Ndigbo means nothing to the former IGP and the Nigerian Government. IGP Adamu and Nigeria have demonstrated high level of wickedness, insensitivity and lack of empathy to Ebonyi massacre.
“I, therefore, call on the National Assembly to summon former IGP Adamu for questioning and order for his immediate arrest for jeopardizing the security of Nigeria with high recklessness.

“This government is joking with the lives and properties of Nigerians. When Boko Haram terrorists said they shot down the Airforce jet, the NAF said they lied, FUNAM claimed responsibility of the attempted assassination of Gov. Samuel Ortom, IGP kept quiet. Through their actions, this present government is dividing the country more and more. Nigeria is now like a ship hit by a tornado.”
