Anambra 2021: Nonso Smart Okafor Meets Party Faithful’s In Nnewi South L.G.A

Frontline All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) 2021 Governorship Aspirant, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor has met with all ward executives in Nnewi South Local Government Area.

The lawmaker who was received by the party faithfuls in Ukpor Town Hall today, Thursday, 6th May, 2021, said that the consultation parley was to inform and seeks the support of party members at the local level for his Gubernatorial ambition.

Speaking to the party faithfuls, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor said that the visit was basically on his belief that party members deserve the right to know their governorship aspirants one-on-one to help those who will eventually emerge delegates to make an informed decision.

He revealed that he contesting for the Guber election not only to sustain the legacies of APGA’s governance in Anambra, butalso to develop the social and economic status of the state.

The Governorship hopeful noted that with the current challenges facing the country, his candidature represents the quest for a change of status quo from the old to the new order, noting that his ambition is revolutionary.


Nonso Okafor who was once a student leader said that the argument against him that he is too young to be Governor is laughable, saying that he is experienced more than other aspirants who are claiming experience.

Speaking on behalf of the party members, the Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance in Nnewi-South Local Government Area, Hon. Azubuike Osuchukwu and Hon. Lawrence Anuluekwe praised Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor for the visit, promising that they will ensure that the delegates from the 20 wards in the L.G.A will vote for him on June 23rd.

Also, the President General of Ukpor Development Union, Chief Cletus Nwanwulu (Obiekunie), said that although he is not Parisian, he is part of the people clamoring that a young person should be given a chance to govern the state, urging APGA delegates to consider Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor.

The consultation visit had the presence of all executives in the twenty (20) wards in Nnewi-South L.G.A.
