You have probably heard things about Ned Nwoko, you must have heard about married to ex-Nollywood sweetheart Regina Daniels, his wealth, land-grabbing allegations, supporting Twitter ban, and many other things. We can start with the fact that he was born into the Royal Palace of Idumuje in Aniocha North council of Delta State in December 1960.

Then we can talk about his wife, his occupation, faith, and anything else our researching hands can grab.

Ned’s First Wife

There are many people who did not know of the existence of Ned Nwoko until he got married to Nigerian Nollywood star, Regina Daniels in 2019. This marriage brought up all kinds of speculations and unearthed the man Nwoko as a relentless polygamist.

It turned out that before he married Regina, he was married to five other women making Regina wife number six. This brings up the curious question, who is his first wife. Was she the wife of his youth? Was she so uncaring or unpresentable that he had to get not one, not two, up to five trophy wives?

Barrister Lily Nwoko is the first wife of Ned Nwoko. She is a barrister by profession. Barr. Lily and Ned have been married for over 2 decades and it is said he loves her so much, so much that some of his properties are alleged to be under her custody.

Not much is public about her as she loves keeping her profile off social media. She doesn’t live with Ned Nwoko in Nigeria. She resides in the United Kingdom.

Ned Nwoko as a serial husband and father

The business tycoon, Ned Nwoko has never been one to shy away from his love for a polygamous family setting. In fact, in an interview with BBC Pidgin, Ned Nwoko categorically stated that his (then) last wife, Regina Daniels, knew that he can still get married to another woman.

And, indeed he has been spotted with a white woman with whom he most likely has romantic ties.

Nwoko is allegedly married to 6 wives and has at least 7 children. The accurate and official figure is only known by him. A family photo shared on his verified Instagram page months ago captured the proud dad alongside his 2 wives, 7 of his children, with the last born, Munir (at that time), missing in action.

Nwoko is a successful lawyer and  solicitor

Ned  Nwoko has a first degree in law and history from The University of Keele and an LLM in commercial and maritime law from the  King’s College, London. He also has an honorary doctorate degree in law from ” Commonwealth University College  Belize” in the United Kingdom.

Nwoko works as a Senior Consultant with Ned Nwoko Solicitors which is a law firm based in London, he engages in the management and verification of various foreign debts of third world countries, and even their component states. He also served in the team of Vision 2010  and is a member of the capital market club.

He is into philanthropy 

Ned Nwoko also has a philanthropic foundation named Ned Nwoko Malaria Eradication Foundation, the foundation is dedicated to the eradication of malaria in African countries. Through this Foundation, the wealthy businessman has contributed to the empowerment, education, and awareness of Nigerian youths towards growth, health, and development.

He is a politician

Ned Nwoko is an ardent politician, He served as a member of the House of Representatives In Nigeria  (1999- 2003) where he represented the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency. He tried to switch to the Senate but he lost to Ifeanyi Okowa who later became the governor of the state.

He once served as the Chairman of the “External Committee of Vision 2010”. Nwoko is believed to be the Chairman of “Project Tourism Nigeria” which is supposed to be an umbrella with which the Nigerian government pushes the country’s tourism and entertainment industry.

It is more or less a portfolio to reward a political financier. 

Ned Nwoko is a Muslim

Many may not know about this,  the billionaire is in fact a dedicated Muslim faithful who is very much in touch with his religious belief. His son with Regina Daniels bears the Muslim name, Munir,  a name which he christened after him.

But if Ned was a true Muslim he won’t be married to more than four wives. 

Ned Nwoko’s net worth

As a Nigerian lawyer, a successful businessman, and an influential politician, Ned Nwoko is currently one of the wealthiest and most influential men in Nigeria. Like most Nigerian big men, their true net worth is shrouded in secrecy. The fear of haters and EFCC in some cases, and in other cases, secrecy gives them the license to inflate their worth.

Some blogs put his net worth at 1.2 billion dollars. Of course, this is not possible. Ned Nwoko can claim anything but he is no billionaire in dollars. 

We believe he is worth not more than 30 million dollars.
