Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, has explained why Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), should succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Sanwo-Olu believes Tinubu is the perfect person to continue President Buhari’s developmental efforts.
The Lagos governor went on to say that the APC national leader will continue the outstanding work he done as governor of the South West state.
2023 Presidency: Sanwo-Olu Backs Tinubu’s Presidential Ambition
On Wednesday, he made the recommendation during a working visit to the Amuwo-Odofin LGA and the Oriade Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
Sanwo-Olu also urged APC leaders in the state to work together to realize Tinubu’s presidential ambitions and succeed President Buhari in the 2023 election.
“We have a lot to be proud of in Lagos,” he remarked. Both at the state and national levels, we have a lot to do to make boasting right.
“We must see that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s sacrifice will not be in vain, and that is why I am urging everyone that the path we have begun to ensure that we have Asiwaju (Tinubu) representing us at the center is on the correct track.”

“I want to encourage all traditional leaders to collaborate with the government at the local and state levels,” he continued. For the growth of our communities, we should work together.
“I want to promote all other ethnic groups, including the Ndigbo, the South-South, and the Arewa. I want to express my gratitude to all of you for the community’s togetherness, peace, and growth, but I want more.
“I want us to continue to live in tolerance, peace, and harmony because it is only by doing so that we will see more communal growth in our neighborhood and community.”
“So, I am going to extract that from you today, that whatever misgivings that you might have among yourselves, make sure we can resolve the issues and we can enshrine a more mutually beneficial rewarding relationship among all of us.”
