The Acting Commissioner of Police, DCP Maiyaki M Baba, responded to the occurrence by commending the inhabitants of the region for their alertness and fast reporting of the incidence to the force headquarters.

Residents were once again assured by the Police Chief that the command will always put public safety first.

He did, however, warn the general public to always report suspicious activity or people in the vicinity, assuring them that such information would be treated in strict confidence.

Normalcy had been restored in the neighborhood, according to him, and inhabitants were going about their daily routines.

Meanwhile, bandit terrorists assaulted Unguwan Bulus, a hamlet in Kaduna State’s Sabon Tasha region, on Thursday night.
