Simon Ekpa, a self-described follower of Nnamdi Kanu, the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has criticized Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo for the compliance with the Monday sit-at-home order.
Remember that the banned organization canceled the sit-at-home order, accusing Ekpa’s branch of carrying out assaults in the Southeast and implementing the edict.
Following IPOB’s reversal of the order, Soludo issued a directive to all state civil and public workers to come to work on Monday or face punishment.
Soludo Reveals Who Is Leading ‘Violent’ IPOB Faction
However, Ekpa said in a tweet on Monday that the people of Anambra had forsaken the governor because they refuse to go to work or open their shops.
The Biafra agitator shared pictures of deserted roads in Akwa, the state capital, as residents complied with the Monday sit-at-home directive.
He wrote: “People of Anambra have deserted @CCSoludo. Where are you Bishops, churches and clergymen that Soludo boosted they will end Biafra civil disobedience today 4th of April 2022? This is Awka in Anambra state today and Soludo is observing sit at home. This is a referendum on its own.”
This development comes after Governor Soludo claims that Ekpa is now leading an IPOB faction in the South East.

Speaking in an interview with Channels Television on Sunday, Soludo disclosed that his administration is ready to grant amnesty to agitators willing to lay down their arms.
He stated that after granting amnesty to those willing to end violence, security agents would clampdown on those that rejected the amnesty
