Interfaith Alliance, a collection of Christian leaders, mounted a peaceful demonstration against the constant attacks and deaths by bandits in Kaduna State.

The demonstrators are urging the federal government to intensify its anti-banditry efforts in order to eradicate the practice.

The protest comes just days after outlaws labeled as terrorists stormed a military facility in the state’s Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area, killing ten soldiers and injuring many more.

They appealed to the Federal government to implement the submissions made by Governor Nasir El-Rufai and launch a massive and precise bombing of the bandits inside the forest.

In addition, they also appealed to the Federal Government to compensate all the victims of bandits attacks, award scholarships to children affected by the banditry, and also rebuild communities ravaged by attacks.
