Nnamdi Kanu’s trial: Security Operatives Block Court Premises Ahead Of Judgement

The Department of State Services, DSS, sealed all roads leading to the Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday, ahead of the resumption of Nnamdi Kanu’s trial as the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

The DSS is thought to have shut the roads near the courthouse to increase security.

Kanu is scheduled to appear in court before Justice Binta Nyako to continue his 15-count terrorist and criminal accusation.

The Nigerian government brought the allegations against him.

However, according to sources, Justice Tosho, the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, ordered a secret trial in all terrorist cases.

As a result, Kanu’s case may be sent to the Code of Conduct Tribunal, or CCT.

Meanwhile, Justice Nyako is expected to rule on Kanu’s fundamental human rights suit against the Federal Government.
