Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a presidential candidate in 2023, has explained why Nigeria needs him to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the All Progressive Congress, APC National Leader addressed on Wednesday at a one-day meeting between existing Speakers and Deputy Speakers of APC-led States.

Tinubu said the country needs a strong leader to accomplish significant reforms that would produce money and grow the country, speaking at an event organized by Lagos Speaker Mudashiru Obasa with the topic ‘The Legislature, Changing Times, and Nigeria’s Democratic Journey.’

Former Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, asserts that he is the guy Nigeria needs to steer the country forward.

“Nigeria needs me even as I need Nigeria. Nigeria needs drastic courageous changes that will bring revenue and I am that courageous one it needs.

“I was raised to be courageous and this has been working for me. I want to bring the same to bear as president of Nigeria.

“Accelerated development of our nation is about thinking and doing, and I am ready to do that again because I am a thinker and doer,” the Nation quoted the politician as saying.

However, the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday said Yemi Osinbajo never informed the party leadership before moving his membership to his home state.

Recall vice president, Yemi Osinbajo dumped the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for his home state.

The Vice President spokesman, Laolu Akande made the confirmation, announcing that Osinbajo moved his membership to Ogun State when he revalidated his APC membership status in Ward One, Ikenne, Ogun State on 9th February 2021.
